I challenge anyone to point me to a single soul in this list who doesn't deserve the dignity of an adult conversation on guns, mental health, media abuse, a culture of violence, or any other of the many complicated issues that are at play. I challenge the people who's knee jerk reaction is to worry about their guns being taken away to point to just one person on that list who's life isn't worth more than some hunk of metal and wood and plastic. Just one.

Furthermore, I invite anyone who hears even the slightest inkling of backing off from that adult conversation come from their local, state, or federal representatives to print that list out and mail it to them with the same challenge.
